Sound object does not play in slide show due to not inserted in Slide view.
Cause:
The sound object was placed on the slide in a view other than 'Slide' view.
Solution:
Insert the sound object while in Slide view.
1) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Slides', to move to 'Slide' view .
2) Insert the sound object again.
3) Run the slide show again. (The sound object now plays.)
